Welcome to Cailla

This village, nested on the foothills of the Mediterranean Pyrenees, dates back to the middle ages. Today, the village consists of 33 houses, a village street, a church from the 10th century with an old monastery and cemetery.

Deciduous forests, fields, hills, rocks, fast flowing creeks and rivers make-up the scenery. In the surrounding area, boars, fallow deer and lynx still live freely in nature. During the night, the rare long wing bat flies between the houses.

During the past few years an old stone house has been converted into two holiday homes in this peaceful village.
