Artist Haven Céret
In 1948, Picasso and Matisse donated 70 of their works so that the Musee d’Art moderne de Céret could be grounded. It was in 1965 in Céret that Dali proposed publicly to his wife Gala. The museum’s collection includes works from Joan Miro, Tapies, Chagall and other modernists. (100 km, 1.5-hour drive.)
